Spaghetti Night with Callie is Sept. 22

Our church, First United Methodist of High Point, will host "Spaghetti Night with Callie" on Wednesday, Sept. 22, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Along with spaghetti for dinner, the event offers a chance to learn more about Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).

Dinner is $8 for adults, $3 for children older than 3 and $25 maximum per family. All proceeds will support 200K for SMA, a campaign raising $200,000 for research into gene therapy which could provide a cure for SMA.

Please pre-register for dinner by contacting the church, 336-889-4429, by noon on Monday, Sept. 20.

After dinner, pediatrician Dr. James Anderson will lead a discussion about SMA. Callie's mom, Christy, will also speak. Child care will be available during the program.
